About the Company: 

Our client is an investment advisor with over $25 billion in AUM with a focus on strategies in distressed debt, long/short credit, private credit, and capital structure arbitrage. The Software Engineer will focus on new builds and enhancements for all systems/applications to support the front office business users.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work within the Structured Credit development team on all new builds and enhancements
  • Collaborate directly with the business and stakeholders on requests
  • Work within a Microsoft SQL Server environment developing C#/.Net applications

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related
  • Experience with C# and relational databases
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and eager to build scalable systems
  • Working knowledge of source control (git, TFS, or similar) and developing with a team

 

Pluses:

  • Background working in financial services, knowledge of mortgage based products
  • Experience with the Intex Calc and the Intex API
  • Knowledge of structured credit products (CLO, RMBS, ABS, CMBS etc)
  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal and the Bloomberg API
  • Familiarity with Python, React, Kubernetes, Docker

 

Salary Range: 

$150,000-$175,000
