The TikTok Intelligent Creation team, part of the TikTok engineering organization, is an international R&D group tasked with building creative capabilities for TikTok. We're dedicated to productizing AI and multimedia technologies to create world-class creation experiences for TikTok users. Our tech stack includes front-end, back-end, mobile, and desktop development, as well as multimedia technologies like audio/video processing and AR effects, in addition to vision and graphic algorithms. Responsibilities

- Develop high-performance client applications that empower users in content creation

- Remain abreast of the latest advancements in mobile development, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI technologies, integrating them seamlessly into our product development lifecycle

- Engage collaboratively with product teams to grasp user requirements and product aspirations, translating design into features

- Enhance application performance to deliver seamless user experiences and exceptional performance

- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of core components and frameworks, ensuring our codebase quality

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs, ensuring the stability and security of applications

- Work closely with backend engineers to foster seamless integration between mobile applications and backend

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, test automation, logging, and monitoring for several of TikTok's internal cross platform sdks and applications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working with international teams across different time zones and cultures

- Open minded, great communication, eager to learn, and always passionate about turning cutting-edge technologies into actual use cases

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Solid coding skills with C++/Java/Kotlin/Swift/Objective-C or strong capabilities learning new programming languages

- Experience with iOS/Android software development. Familiar with multi-threading concurrency, common data structures, and common software design patterns

- Experience building Android and/or iOS applications or sdks and their development environments: gradle, xcodebuild and dependency management such as Maven and Cocopods

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112000 - $177000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
