We are a stealth startup, meaning we are currently operating under the radar to develop a groundbreaking product. We are located in New York City and are looking for creative and passionate individuals to join our high-growth team.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Design Intern with experience working in UI/UX design via extensive independent design projects, via an internship, or via school related projects (1+ year of experience) to contribute to the design of our brand and mobile application. As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of design applications and settings, playing a key role in shaping the user experience and design of our products. You will be joining an early stage, high growth startup where you will be able to have a very high impact and will have a significant amount of discretion on the building of our brand and products. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and be excited to join with the mentality of a founding team member.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain branding across all products and platforms.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the usability of the product.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

Requirements

  • Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma for visual design, prototyping, and collaboration.
  • Experience with Sketch, InVision, and Adobe XD for additional design and prototyping capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of the feasibility of implementing a given design in code

Location

This startup is based in New York City, NY, United States. The candidate can work in person, remote, or hybrid. Must be located in the United States.
